Debra Pearson has a B.A. Honours in Psychology from Concordia University and a M.Sc. in Neuroscience from McGill University. Thanks to her educational background in animal behavior and continuing studies in dog training (through courses and conferences), Debra incorporates the latest evidence-based training methods into her dog and puppy training along with a generous dose of humor. She is an advocate for positive reinforcement dog training and believes it should be fun for everyone (canines and humans alike). Debra is a volunteer dog trainer at the Oakville & Milton Humane Society and is an associate member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers (CAPPDT), Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and Truly Dog Friendly. Debra is available for private instruction for dogs and puppies and can be reached at 905-467-8923. See her website (www.thinkpositivedog.ca) for more details on services provided.
